There are many options available to monetize our site/blog, however the most popular website monetizing method is probably by displaying Google adsense ads. In fact, many new webmasters start their make money online journey with adsense, and even many of them start building their websites just to display adsense.

Here are some of my reasons why I choose and love adsense to monetize my sites.

Most new webmasters tend to choose adsense since it is very easy to implement. You don’t need to know complex html or php language just for this purpose, just go to your adsense account, get your ads code, then slap it on your page, and viola, adsense appears on your pages. For bloggers there are many adsense ready themes/skins where you will only need to edit the pub-id and your adsense ads is running on a properly placement.

With adsense, you don’t need to worry what kind of ads will be displayed on your page. Their spider will crawl your page to ‘identify’ what is it all about then deliver the related ads on that page. Write about golf and you’ll get golf advertisements on your page. No need to choose the right and suitable advertisers for your pages because adsense will take care about it for you.

Various Type of Ads Format and Color

You are not allowed to alter or modify your adsense code but their built in ads format can be implemented properly to fit your page. Combine it with he right color optimization you can make your ads blend with your page layout that will lead higher click trough rate. Means more money for you.

It is Easy to Join Adsense

You don’t need the biggest site on the net to be able to join adsense. In fact, a very simple blogspot blog with 10-15 posts is enough for you for this purpose. If you are a new webmaster and want to join adsense, just go to blogspot (it’s owned by the same company who own adsense, google), slap 10+ articles (suggested language is English for this purpose), then go to adsense website sign up, put your new blogspot blog as your site when it is asked, and wait for few days, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

It’s almost guaranteed that you’ll be accepted. It’s been tested by many webmasters, don’t worry. And you can use this adsense account on all of your sites, no matter how many sites you have.

Adsense is Run by a Reputable Company

Who don’t know Google? It is by far one of the most popular website on the net, the biggest player on search engine industry. Google will be around for a while (for long time, I believe) so you don’t need to worry they will go bankrupt in the near future that will give you a headache since you have to change all of your sites that display the ads.

It’s Paying

This is the most important thing, right? Who want to work hard optimizing our site, generating more traffics and clicks just to find that the company we work for (with) doesn’t pay our hard work? I’ve been with adsense since 2006 and they always send me my payment. It is run by Google, one of the most profitable sites on the net, so don’t worry, they will pay you, as long as you can generate income with them.
