As I’ve said before on my post Google finally update their pagerank on July 26th. As usually, the overall update can take few days to complete, so all data center can give same PR value to all domains.

This blog PR doesn’t change, and so my other old blog. Though there’s no PR increase, I am still happy with that result. At least since I know many of my friends blog PR decrease. One of my friend blog is penalized (or whatever people call it). His main blog PR is decreased from PR5 to PR0.

I don’t know what casues this PR downgrade, but most people say that it’s due to link sellling, whether it’s from piad review or other link selling method.

While my 2 old blogs PR doesn’t change, my 3 new blogs PR increase, from 0 to PR3. That’s really a good news for me.

Many webmasters say that PR is not really important and can be manipulated easily.

I don’t know how to manipulate PR, but I, on certain level, agree that PR is not really important. The most important is traffics, lot of traffics. Good PR doesn’t always means high traffics.

However on the other hand, PR is still an important factor if you are in Paid to Blog business. It is since most advertisers will see PR as one important factor before they buy a review. The higher your PR, the higher price you’ll get.

I’m not really a big fan of paid review programs, but I must say that this business is quite lucrative and can give you a good amount of money to your paypal account.

Now back to PR update, how about your site PR?
